Steye Hallema


Steye Hallema is a director, composer and inventor, known for his skill to tell original stories with the newest technology. He worked as a creative at the acclaimed multimedia theatre group PIPS:lab and was the creative lead at VPRO Medialab. Always ahead of the crowd, he directed the world’s first 360° music video in 2009. His VR music video ‘What Do We Care 4’ was nominated for a UK Music Video Award in 2015 and was a hit amongst early VR adoptors, creators and enthusiasts. The video raises the bar for cutting and transitioning in VR. At this moment, Steye works as a creative director for Jaunt. He spends his spare time working with his lab WildVreemd on his Smartphone Orchestra invention.
