The National Theatre Immersive Storytelling Studio

Company: National Theatre

NT’s Immersive Storytelling initiative is looking at the application of 360 degree film, VR and installations in compelling methods of storytelling. Whilst at the National Theatre, Toby Coffey has co-produced the documentary Making War Horse, revealing the creative process and groundbreaking techniques behind one of the most popular and acclaimed productions in the NT’s history. He was an executive producer on Alan Bennett and the Habit of Art, a BAFTA-nominated documentary film and the winner of the Royal Television Society Award for Arts, and Frankenstein: A Modern Myth, exploring the relevance of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein to modern society using Danny Boyle’s National Theatre production as a central reference point.
