The future is bright – is there a future?

With the rise of VR, immersive and interactive storytelling have – again – become the buzz words of the entertainment industry. In 1938 Jean-Paul Sartre argued that it is not possible to be part of a story and be told that story at the same time. What’s a linear story’s place in a virtual reality anyway?
