What happened to VRDays?
VRDays still exists, but instead of the name of the event, it is the name of the foundation. And the VRDays Europe foundation is organizing the Immersive Tech Week festival in Rotterdam this year. We are excited to host a fully physical event from our brand new home in Rotterdam. Join us at de Doelen, Schouwburgplein 50, 3012 CL Rotterdam from November 28 – December 2nd.
What is happening in Rotterdam? A lot!
We will host conferences, the Church of VR, the Trade Show, Playground, an XR accelerator programme called Impulse (formerly IFM), a Hackathon, Performance Nights and social events. Be sure to check out our website and see what is ticketed, what is open to the public and what is invite only!
Is there an online element this year?
All attendees with a Full, Day, Trade show, Student pass or Virtual Pass will receive access to our Meet2Match app which will enable streaming content of the conferences besides networking. In due time recorded parts of the conferences will also be released online for everyone to enjoy.
Can I see a Dazzle performance with my ITW pass?
No, the Dazzle performances are part of the programming of our partner de Doelen. They are not part of the official Immersive Tech Week programme. To secure tickets for Dazzle please go to the website of de Doelen.
Can I see Cosmogony with my ITW pass?
Only ITW Full Pass holders have a chance to access the Cosmogony performance on Friday night. Please note that seating is limited, not guaranteed and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.
Where can I use a promocode?
If you have a promo code please click the correct ticket on our ticketing page. On the first page of de Doelen tickets click “Use Promotional Code” and enter the code you have received here. Please make sure you enter the promo code in this first step. The promo code is not a giftcard code. Please go back to the first step in the ticketing process if you are seeing a screen with a field for a gift card code.
How do I get to Rotterdam?
Rotterdam is extremely easy to get to by many modes of transport and de Doelen is less than a five minute walk from Rotterdam Central Station. Best and most sustainable way to travel to the city is by train, there are a lot of national and international trains calling at Rotterdam Central Station. From Schipol Airport there is a direct train that takes 24 minutes to Rotterdam.
What is accessible for free?
The Playground in the main hall of de Doelen is accessible for everybody for free, but we do ask you to make a reservation for a timeslot.
What is accessible with all the different tickets
Best is to check out our tickets page to get a good overview of the tickets. Our Why Attend page will also help finding the ticket best for you. Important: VR Awards dinner an d after party tickets need to be bought through the VR awards team. Tickets to the XR Performance nights need to be bought seperately through de Doelen.

How do I get to Church of VR?
You will need to book a Church of VR ticket via www.vrdays.co. The entrance for Church of VR is located at de Doelen’s Willem Burger Hall entrance Kruisplein 40, 3012 CC Rotterdam
How do I get to Playground?
Playground is free and located in the main hall of de Doelen and accessible via de Doelens Main Entrance at Schouwburgplein 50, 3012 CL Rotterdam . Entrance is free but you will need to book a timeslot via our ticketing page. This will help us create the best experience for all and limit waiting times.
How do get access to the MeetToMatch Networking App?
Make sure you complete the full registration so we can create an account before Immersive Tech Week starts. If this does not work it will also be possible to enter at Immersive Tech Week. Ask for assistance when collecting your badge.
Are there Social Events and how can I attend them?
Yes! All social events will be communicated through our website and social channels so keep up with them. We will also keep you informed during the event of course. Some social events like the Opening Dinner require tickets, but many networking drinks and gatherings are free for all.
How can I access the event?
There are several tickets available for both professionals as students, researchers and the general public. Go to our ticketpage and choose which ticket is the right one for you. Ticketing is handled through our partner de Doelen. Please make sure you complete the full registration process for your tickets to be activated. This will also give access to our Meet2Match networking app.
Will I be able to re-watch the conferences?
Parts of the programme will be available online. The conferences in the Jurriaanse zaal will be streamed, available through our Meet2Match app. In due time content may also be released for the general public after the event.
I did not receive an automatic email when I purchased my ticket
You need to fill out the complete registration form first, before a tickets can be issued. Check your spam, perhaps the email ended up there. Still not found? Get in touch with our ticketing team at de Doelen, they will be able to help.
Can you help me apply for a visa if I buy a ticket
We are very sorry but for attendees we cannot assist in obtaining a visa in any way.
Can I attend the VR Awards?
Full Pass owners will have a chance to attend the VR Awards ceremony. Please note though, seating is limited, not guaranteed and will be appointed in a “first come, first serve” manner. For the dinner and afterparty seperate ticketing is required through the VR Awards website.
