Stéphane Grade studied Psychological Sciences and did a PhD on the embodied nature of space perception. During his PhD they set up a Virtual Reality laboratory to study the links between perception/action behaviors and to test how modifying action capabilities would modify distance estimation. After this, Grade started a research project (November 2017) aimed at the creation of five VR scenarios for the training of ambulance drivers. They focused the system on procedures that include medical triage, bleeding control and situation awareness.
